Droid Phone Verizon – Review

Because the big Motorola Company is in desperate need of a smashing success and Verizon is also in need of a great prop up, the two major companies have finally brought a new Android Phone as their answer. But did the phone really provide success? Verizon’s huge marketing campaign do seems to think so, with unusual iPhone rhetoric, mysterious Android bite and high end features, it did become one mighty phone to reckon with.

The Droid Phone Verizon currently features a 3.7 inch 854×480 WVGA capacitive Touch Screen display, a touch screen addition, a built-in 5 megapixel camera, Custom Motorola interface/UI, no Verizon UI, No Motor Blur, and a 500MHz CPU ARM Cortex. This modern minimalist phone actually lacks the HTC trademark styling or the slim stone look which can be seen on Palm Pre. The phone is basically rectangular in shape due to its sharp edges, but the phone is really slim for QWERTY slider and really looks professional similar to a high class piece. The phone is extremely compact and durable, and its keyboard slider moves easily in a smooth manner that clicks when you close or open the phone fully. The Droid Phone Verizon is a phone for people who enjoys sophisticated type as well as for business type of people.

Its 3.7 inch capacitive touch screen also dominates the front face of the phone that also features a sensitive touch screen situated just below. Though the phone’s resolution is very high at 854×480, its operating system’s text is not really that painfully small and the images it produces are reasonably sized.
